"Motorola has brought us an updated version of its MOTORIZR Z3 slider handset, itself still not widely available, which it is calling the MOTORIZR Z6. The new Z6 features the same attractive design as its sibling, but includes tweaks to the user interface and a focus toward music.
As with any music centric handset, storage capacity is an important factor, and the MOTORIZR Z6 boosts the Z3's on board memory to 64MB, with a microSD memory card slot still present for up to 2GB of removable storage. A music button now resides where the internet key was for the Z3, with the Z6 showing off with a unique metallic black finish. Compatibility with Microsoft's WMA DRM has been added on top of MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR NB, WAV, and XMF compatibility, and Windows Media Player 11 can now be used to manage music on the device. On top of these tweaks, Motorola has included its new Linux-based user interface, boasting much improved usability over that found on previous devices.
Other specifications and features of the MOTORIZR Z6 are the same as the Z3, with a 2.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, and 262k color TFT LCD screen. The MOTORIZR Z6 is set for availability in the first half of 2007."
