Preliminary NPD data via Next-Gen suggests that Nintendo outsold both the 360 and PS3 in January, this despite continued shortages for the console while the latter two are widely in stock. Here's how it allegedly went down last month:
1. Wii - 436,000 units
2. 360 - 294,000 units
3. PS3 - 244,000 units
Nintendo must be pretty happy with the success of the Wii. I still can't find any stores near me with a Wii in stock, but they have plenty of PS3's and XBOX 360's. It's nice to see an underdog come out on top.
