Palm Centro Smartphone coming to Sprint I received an email from Paul Loeffler, Manager of Public Relations for Palm tonight about the upcoming Palm Centro Smartphone. This will be a Sprint exclusive, and be a low cost smartphone. At this time I was told that Palm could only reveal a few things, "but there is a bigger story coming, and will be revealed closer to the launch" (very interesting). What I was told is this:

The Palm Centro from Sprint

·Smallest Palm OS smartphone to date

·Targeting a younger demographic, new to the smartphone space

·Runs on EVDO network

·New design features a full keyboard and touch screen

Palm is very smart to release a lower cost smartphone targeting a younger audience. Get 'em hooked when they're young, and they'll come back for more:)
