This can still be a rumor, but it certainly seems plausible. We know that people across the pond are used to having 3G on their phones, so this pretty much makes sense.

Another thing to note is the 16GB on the Germany iPhone, don't be surprised if we see an iPhone released closer to Christmas here in the U.S. with 16GB of memory with a price of $499.
