T-Mobile Suspends Sales of Sidekick Slide due to Power Issue "Last night T-Mobile announced that it was suspending sales of the recently launched Sidekick Slide, a device built for T-Mobile by Motorola. T-Mobile is reporting that Motorola has confirmed the existance of a problem that causes some T-Mobile Sidekick Slide devices to power-off when the display's slide mechanism is used.

Motorola is reportedly studying the problem in order to come up with some sort of fix.

T-Mobile customers that are experiencing the problem with their Sidekick Slide can contact T-Mobile Customer Care, at 1-800-266-2459, or speak with a sales representative at any T-Mobile retail location in order to get additional information or to discuss currently available options."

T-Mobile is now giving owners of the SideKick Slide a free upgrade to the SideKick LX.
