Apple removes Antivirus support note
Apple has removed the Antivirus support note that had posted on their support site encouraging Mac users to use antivirus utilities. Apple has sent the following statement to media outlets regarding the note:
The Mac is designed with built-in technologies that provide protection against malicious software and security threats right out of the box.
