  Palm confirms Pre has 256MB of RAM
PrePoint came across a video of a Palm rep demoing the Pre and the Palm rep says "the Pre has 256MB RAM. That's probably why it can run so many opened apps in the background without slowing down.

FYI, the iPhone and iPhone 3G both have 128MB RAM.
