Look at this, Apple is now considering allowing applications to run in the background. Why the change of heart? 3 letters, PRE. Apple is beginning to realize that the Palm Pre is the 1st device that is heads above the iPhone. Running backgrounds was always shotdown by Apple due to battery life. Somehow Palm was able to run more than 1 app in the background and it wasn't having that battery drainage Apple keeps spewing. So now, Apple is finally considering letting apps run in the background. Somebody is starting to take the Pre seriously.
