I got invited to attend a Nokia E Series Event tonight at the Nokia Flagship Store in NYC. I met a bunch of really cool people in the tech world as well as some Nokia Corporate Employees who wanted to show off the Nokia E Series devices and get our input on them and future Nokia devices. Nokia also allowed us to break up into groups and design the ultimate Nokia phone and give a presentation on what it would be. It was great to work and feed off of great ideas to create the phone we wanted, what was even cooler is that Hugo Hernandez, Director of E Series Marketing for Nokia, and Chanse Arrington, Nokia Product Manager actually listened and took notes on our ideas. I have to give Nokia huge props to open themselves up, listen to our ideas, and let us constructively criticize some of their smartphones. It's very clear that Nokia is serious about getting more involved in the US market and they're listening to us.
