  Agendus 1.01 for iPhone released

Agendus is one of those applications that is a favorite on each platform it runs on. I've used it on Palm OS, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Palm webOS (via Classic), and now iPhone. Agendus 1.01 for iPhone has been released .

The following is a quick rundown of some of the things that make Agendus shine.

» Easy Navigation. Agendus for iPhone takes advantage of the unique page transitions, finger scrolling capabilities and ease of getting where you need to, for which the iPhone is known for.

» Customize to your liking. The preferences panel provides a variety of options allowing to fine-tune the app and its behavior to the user's liking.

» Ready for iPhone OS 3.0. Agendus if fully compatible with iPhone OS 2.2 and above. Additionally, special care has been placed into making sure the app is compatible with the new OS 3.0.

» iPod Touch. The majority of the features in Agendus for iPhone can be used on the iPod Touch, including the Over-the-Air facilities (via WiFi), with the only limitations being placing phone calls and text messaging.

» Multi-Function Today View. Agendus for iPhone consolidates in one view your tasks, along with Real-time Weather Conditions (plus a 9-day forecast), an inspirational Quote of the Day and an informative Day in History snippet, each retrieved and updated with a simple touch over the related slot.

» Customize the Today View. You can rearrange the position of each Today View slot. Also, each slot is collapsible to show/hide the related information. It's also possible to define how many and what type of task to show.

» Contact List. Agendus reads from and writes to the built-in contact related storages of the iPhone, therefore any addition or modification made in Agendus is immediately reflected in the native Contacts App and vice versa.

» Expanded Contact View. In addition to the straightfoward Contact list, Agendus for iPhone features its unique "Expanded" mode, which shows the associated contact photo, as well as all of the phone numbers and emails directly on the list. Tapping on these numbers/emails will dial or start a new email message instantly. » Tasks List. Agendus introduces a missing component on the iPhone: tasks (to-dos) and provides a number of facilities allowing complete task manipulation
