There is a lot of interest from developers to create applications for the Palm Pre and Palm webOS. Instead of waiting for Palm to add more software titles to the App Catalog, two developers have created applications that make it easy to install Homebrew applications on the Pre. The first application is webOS Quick Install by Jason Robitaille. This application allows you to easily install applications via a desktop application. It works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
The second application is called fileCoaster . This application allows you to download and install applications OTA on your Pre. No computer required.
The Palm webOS Homebrew community is alive and kicking. Developers are posting new applications every day over @ PreCentral . This should be music to Palm's ears. Palm webOS is proving to be an OS that developers want to make apps for, and by the amount of applications coming out it only proves that it's an easy OS to create great applications for.
