I was lucky enough to track down an Apple Store that received their first shipment of the new Apple Magic Mouse. In typical Apple fashion even the plastic container the Magic Mouse comes in a very cool container showing off the Magic Mouse as if it were a piece of art. Apple also includes two AA batteries inside the Magic Mouse so you can start using it right away.
The Magic Mouse feels great in the hand. The mouse settings in System Preferences allow you to customize the Magic Mouse and also shows a video tutorial showing how the features work. You can add right click, scroll with momentum (just like the iPhone, or scroll without momentum, snd 2 fingers swipe which allows you to navigate left/right.
The Multi-Touch on the surface of the Magic Mouse is very responsive, if you own a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook, iPhone, and iPod touch you will be very familiar with the gestures. The only thing missing is the pinch to zoom function I have a feeling Apple will update the Magic Mouse via software update, if not someone will make it happen.
The Magic Mouse is just another example of why so many people love Macs and iPhones, it's super easy to use, and extremely intuitive.
