Rumor: Apple Tablet in March, Verizon iPhone also on the way
An analyst from Oppenheimer is reporting that Apple will be ramping up production of a 10.1-inch multitouch tablet in February which is expected to go on sale some time in March or April for $1000. Apple is supposedly going after Amazon and the Kindle with the tablet, and working on offering publishers a 70/30 (Apple takes 30%, develoeprs get 70%) deal which is the same kind of deal they offer developers in the App Store. Amazon currently takes up to 50% from publishers who sell their work on Amazon's Kindle Store.
The analyst is also saying a Verizon iPhone is expected in 2010 as well.
