Even though Steve Jobs said "If you need to use a task manager, you're doing it wrong." You can close apps by tapping and holding a running app and then tapping the red line next to it to close. That sounds like a task manager to me.
Apple has once again built on and delivered an elegant, intuitive update to the iPhone OS. Very nice for the first beta!
